Career
He is a member of New Patriotic Party who was elected as a member of parliament for Amenfi East constituency in the Western region of Ghana during the 2000 Ghanaian general elections for the 5th parliament of the 4th republic of Ghana.
He is a Researcher and a lecturer at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He also served as a researcher with the Institute of Land Management and Development ILMAD and did extensive work on land and cocoa. He has been the principal country researcher for a number of International Organisations such as the United Nation’s Food And Agricultural Organisation FAO and the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), Washington, as well as HR Wallingford.
